Network Projector
In Windows XP there are many new features to improve on older networking technologies. One new improvement is the way you can connect to projectors. You can now do this over a network so multiple sources can be connected at different times without having to keep moving the sources or projectors around. The network projector can be connected to the network via wireless or cable (LAN) technology to make it even more flexible. You can not only connect to the network projector remotely by can also remote configure it. As you will see from the screenshots below, the network projector is given an address that can be connected to over the network. This address is either an http://computername/projector/projectorname/ type address or can be a \\computername\projector\projectorname address. This can be configured on the server that is hosting the projector but be connected to from any Vista pc. You can also configure encryption with a wireless network with WPA (Wi-Fi Protected Access) or WPA2 as well as RDP for ethernet. You can also give a presentation to more than one projector at the same time so different groups of people will see your presentation.

You have 2 options when you open up the connect to projector wizard. You can search for projectors on the network or you can manually enter an address of a projector if you have the address at hand. If you chose the first option you will see a search option with some options of projectors after a quick search if there are any projectors available.
If you chose to enter the projector address you will have the option to enter the address as well as the password for that password:
