Zune Executive To Leave Microsoft

A Microsoft Corp. executive responsible for its newly launched Zune digital music player will leave the company.

The software maker said the departure of Bryan Lee, a corporate vice president in Microsoft's Entertainment and Devices division, was for personal reasons and "absolutely not" related to sales of the music player, which came out in mid-November to soft reviews.

Microsoft downplays possibility of vista voice hack

Microsoft researchers said this week that it is unlikely Vista's new voice-recognition component could allow hackers to prompt a machine to download malware.

But, the software giant admitted Wednesday on its Security Response Center blog, it is possible to play an audio file that could permit such actions as "copy," "delete" and "shutdown."

He's commenting on a p2net story on the anti-Microsoft ads running off- and online, citing a couple of examples,

Vista Ultimate for $3.50

Bangkok (Thailand) - pirates around the world are already churning out illegal copies of the recently released Vista Operating System. Often these copies are sold for pennies on the dollar when compared to the original price: We were able to purchase a copy of Vista Ultimate, which retails for $400, for a mere $3.50 (US).
